  • 1982—4th Dan, awarded the title of Renshi, Hsin Lu Martial Arts Association.
  • 1984—5th Dan, awarded title of Shihan status, Shinjimasu International Martial Arts Association.
  • 1987—6th Dan, awarded the title of Kyoshi, Hsin Lu Martial Arts Association.
  • 1990—Black Belt status in Comjuka Kali Systems.
  • 1991—Appointed to the Board of Directors of Butokan Shotokan Tae Kwon Do; awarded lifetime membership status.
  • 1991—Southwest Regional Director of the United States Kali Association; Filipino Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
  • 1991—Placed in the lineage of the Filipino Comjuka-Kali Systems.

  • 2007—Recognized as a 10th Degree Black Belt with Shinjimasu International Martial Arts Association; granted a seat on the Grand Master Counsel.
  • 2007—Awarded title of Guro and given full instructor status Simplified Filipino American Kali, Eskrima Concepts.
  • 2007—Inducted into The United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Outstanding Grand Master (Texas) in Las Vegas, Nevada
