We also want to encourage you to visit our Archives (see the Media menu off the main menu above) where you will find a wealth of pictures in tribute to those notable leaders of the Arts that we have met along our path who have, in one form or another, shaped our own growth and development and to whom we owe our gratitude.

Koryukan... the Offical Style of the Hsin Lu Family

Hsin Lu desires to preserve the fundamental training traditions and philosophies of the martial arts. It does so through its Koryukan style which brings ancient knowledge into today’s practice and incorporates the precepts of the techniques that cover all aspects of the martial arts.

We seek to provide the very framework, upon which all of its various expressions operate, and we recognize that wisdom and knowledge is a requirement of this provision. 

Hsin Lu acknowledges that in order to appreciate the whole of the Arts, one must understand its parts.

Hsin Lu declares itself a study of the evolution of the martial arts that emphasizes the integration of mind, body, and spirit in the perfection of character.

We recognize that this integration consents to a perseverance that extends beyond human limitations, and we vow to so persevere and return.

We acknowledge our duty to share, help, teach, support and propagate the honorable endeavors of all within our family circle.

We aspire to bring you fellowship, community, and the Hsin Lu family’s roots, and we aim to encourage the exchange of knowledge between our members.

It is our wish to forge a legacy for future generations to come.
